I usually use the keyboard applet to configure 2 layouts: US
English and Quebec (Canadian French). After recent upgrades, the
applet lost the Quebec (qc or qc-2) layout. When I open Keyboard
Preferences (in the applet menu) and select the Layouts tab I see
that only the US layout shows in the list. The problem happens when I
try to add a new layout.
When I click on the "+ Add..." button, I get a window that says:
The Application "gnome-keyboard-properties" has quit unexpectedly.
You can inform the developers of what happened to help them fix it.
Or you can restart the application right now.
When I ask for details, I get:
