Under KDE really -- maybe that's the problem? With gtk2-engines-gtk-qt
enabled.
OK, that's the problem -- when I turn gtk2-engines-gtk-qt off, I get the
color squares back!
Thanks, I suggest reclassifying this as a gtk2-engines-gtk-qt bug,
unless you want to find out why dia produces this effect and not other apps.
