As you may have noticed, GNOME 2.10 is making its way to unstable,
which involves a transition from libgtop2-2 to libgtop2-5. As the two
libgtop2-N packages inconveniently conflict, current gdesklets
packages consequently cannot coexist with the new gnome-applets and
gnome-system-monitor packages that have recently come along.
With luck, it should suffice to bump the build-dependency on
libgtop2-dev to (>= 2.10).
