 Please try to login within "strace", strace will log the system calls
 done by the process and will permit us to know where gnome-session is
 stuck.

 To achieve this, please run:
    % strace -f -o startx.strace -tt startx

 Compress (gzip) the startx.strace file and send it to this bug report.
