Bug#300808: at-spi: could not load typelib (Accessibility) - missing files?

I apologize; this bug is quite possibly filed against the wrong package.
I'm uncertain about where it belongs.

The following works in some other distros, but not in Debian:
echo "import bonobo; import ORBit, CORBA; ORBit.load_typelib('Accessibility')" | python
In Debian, the following error is returned:
RuntimeError: could not load typelib

I've been told this is indicative of missing files in the package.
