When I click on the e^x button, then click on 1 and then =, the 
display reads 14, but e^1 is about 2.7.
My settings are: Radians, (Inv and Hyp unchecked), Dec, Fix. 
Glad to provide screen shots if requested.

I am using Ubuntu 5.04 Hoary Hedgehog

Please don't submit Ubuntu bugs to the Debian bug tracking system. We
have nothing to do with Ubuntu.

As for your problem, I guess you are probably clicking things the wrong
way. You should click on "1" so that the display reads "1", then click
on "e^x". This should give the correct result.
