I don't program GTK and therefore wouldn't know GTK's API.  "If
you're _willing_ to fix..."; ask instead if I were ABLE to fix.

Aside from that gripe, many thanks for the updates on all those
GTK bugs.  Apologies if collecting 'em in #315083 was a misplaced
effort.  As per your good advice I'll try more tests to find out what's
the matter with gnome/sawfish on my system, and maybe file a report if
somebody else hasn't already.
