Severity: important

I've had problems with the shift key not affecting all keys - it works
for most alphabet letters, but not numbers or punctuation keys. The
problem has been a little bit sporadic. I looked through upstream CVS
and there are a few fixes applied to server/vino-input.c, which appear
to help with my problem. If I'm reading the viewcvs page correctly,
the fixes are in the 2.10 branch as well as head.

I am using realvnc on a windows 2000 box to connect to vino, the
network (university LAN) is fast enough for latency to not be a major
issue.
