Another option would be a 2-step login: first authenticate, then only
after, offer to choose session/language.
OTOH, such a thing may be seen as cumbersome by many, if everyone is
to be asked the question on every login. So maybe on first login the
user could be given the choice between:
- never ask me again about those settings
- always bug be about those settings
- only ask me if a new choice is available (or my selection is no more available)
But then we will also need a trigger to allow changing the parameters
at will, possibly as a new menu item replacing the session and
language menus.
