Package: gnome-terminal
Version: 2.2.2-1
Severity: normal

When a program's output is scrolling, the display is very _very_
*VERY* slow, to a point that gnome-terminal 1.4.x never reached.

This is highly annoying, to the point of making it unusable,
especially in combination with screen(1). When hitting Ctrl-C in a
gnome-terminal running screen locally, it can take some time before
the output stops.

The patch proposed in Debian bug <http://bugs.debian.org/197797> is
integrated in the current version of vte, hence I'm closing this bug.

Please reopen the bug if necessary (or mail me).

   Bye,
