Package: gnome-terminal
Version: 2.4.1-2
Severity: normal

*** Please type your report below this line ***

Under 2.6.0-test9, gnome-terminal opens a window but never spawns a
shell. Under 2.4.20, it works fine. Past discussion on linux-kernel
suggests that this may be down to it making assumptions about whether
children or parent processes run first after fork(), and that scheduler
changes in 2.6 break this assumption.

I'm closing this bug, as everything works fine with current kernels and
we don't have further debugging information.

   Bye,
