Bug#327652: gtk+2.0: 000_gtk+-2.0.6-exportsymbols is redundant and possibly harmful

Package: gtk+2.0
Severity: normal

The 000_gtk+-2.0.6-exportsymbols patch seems redundant, gtk+ can be
built just fine without it and libtool 1.5.6-6 I currently have
installed.

Furthermore the patch might actually be harmful as it exports 650 extra
symbols according to the abicheck.sh files included with the source.
Most curious ones probably being _fini, _init and various Xinerama
symbols:

+XineramaIsActive
+XineramaQueryExtension
+XineramaQueryScreens
+XineramaQueryVersion
+XPanoramiXAllocInfo
+XPanoramiXGetScreenCount
+XPanoramiXGetScreenSize
+XPanoramiXGetState
+XPanoramiXQueryExtension
+XPanoramiXQueryVersion
