Hello Takuo,

libgconf2-4 has a circular dependency with gconf2.
This cause problems during upgrade between stable releases.

We are discussing circular dependencies on debian-devel and
Josselin Mouette asked me to report this bug as a reference
for the discussion.

Cheers,

Changes:
 gconf2 (2.10.1-3) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * Backport all features from the experimental 2.12 branch.
   * gconf2.postinst: remove bashism.
   * Remove circular dependency between libgconf2-4 and gconf2
     (closes: #316403).
     + move libexecdir to /usr/lib/libgconf2-4,
     + new package: gconf2-common,
     + move the defaults directories to gconf2-common,
     + move the documentation to libgconf2-dev,
     + move the configuration file to gconf2-common and handle it with ucf,
     + move locale and SGML stuff to gconf2-common.
   * Rewrite the package descriptions.
   * gconf2-common.postinst: fix permissions that seem to be set wrong in
     some cases.
   * Don't include load_empty_dirs.diff, it segfaults on G2.10. It means
     we'll have to wait for G2.12 to use the per-package defaults in
     /usr/share/gconf.
