Hi Loïc,

Since I have now seen this behaviour in several programs including
Freeciv and Epiphany, I suspect that it is a bug in GTK+: if a button
becomes sensitive while the cursor is inside it then any mouse clicks on
the button are ignored until the mouse leaves (and re-enters) the button.

What version of libgtk2.0-0 do you have installed? I am currently
experiencing the bug with 2.6.10-1. If you have 2.8 (from experimental)
installed then I will rejoice and install it. ;)

In case you don't, here is an exact recipe to reproduce the bug on my
machine, with gucharmap 1:1.4.4-1 (from unstable)

  1. Start gucharmap
  2. Search -> Find...
  3. Type 'copyright'
  4. Move mouse into the 'Next' button. (The Clearlooks theme makes the
     button glow slightly.)
  5. Click mouse. The 'Next' button is disabled while search is carried
out. Once the result is found and highlighted, the button is enabled
     again.
  6. Click mouse without moving. Nothing happens. (At this time,
Clearlooks' glow on the 'Next' button is not present. It appears
that GTK+ does not realise that the mouse is inside the 'Next'
     button.)
  7. Move mouse outside of the 'Next' button.
  8. GOTO 4. ;)
