Bug#360781: vte: new tab thinks it's 24x80

Hello,

The recent upgrade to vte 1:0.12.0-1 seems to make gnome-terminal and
xfce4-terminal think that every new tab starts out with 24 rows.  This
inaccurate assumption seems to confuse vim and info: if I open a new tab
and start vim or info right away, they only draw on the first 24 rows of
the window.  Resizing the window, even if just to add one row and remove
it right away, corrects the problem for that tab.
