Bug#361114: gnome-terminal: terminal size increases after closing all tabs but one

Hello,

Starting with a gnome-terminal window with a single tab, suppose I
create a new tab then close it.  When the new tab is created, the
window grows to keep the terminal size constant while accommodating the
tab bar.  When the new tab is closed, the window does not shrink, so
the terminal size of the remaining tab grows.  This last behavior is
different from in previous versions, and I consider it a bug.
