this may be related to: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=166564 imho, this bug also prevents the 2-on-1-page option from working at all. there is a patch that seems to work, maybe it could be applied to the debian package. see also: https://launchpad.net/products/gnome-print/+bug/3667 cheers
