Thanks, it always helps a lot to attach a patch. I've included it and
uploaded a new gedit package. I'll ask for release team reviewal the
next time I look at the etch/unstable version discrepancies.
BTW, I saw and flagged your first message, but I might have missed it:
it's best to discuss stuff on debian-gtk-gnome@ and to request stuff
via bug reports (as you just did here).
