 Right, we're just having fun pulling deps on people's systems!  Eh,
 please try to be constructive, that's not very encouraging.

 I grabbed the remaining informations from your blog to understand what
 led you to this remark.  The real cause of the problem seems to be the
 gucharmap -> gnome-vfs pull, eg. the number of useless dependencies of
 gucharmap on other libraries.

 I solved the problem on the gucharmap package in -3, but since it
 depends on libgucharmap which still has the deps, it still pulls in
 libgucharmap...  :-/
