Bug#351561: Can't type capital letters while gdesklets is running (only PPC)

This happens only on powerbook in gnome or xfce4 session. Running in
kde everything seems to be ok. Running the same $HOME/.gdesklets
(nfs shared) on an i386 it works on (kde|gnome|xfce4). I did a
backup of all .gconf, .gnome* and .config an removed them. Nothing
changed.

BTW, I have to run xorg 6.8.2 on my PB, 'cause 6.9.0, which is on my
i386 box, crashes.
