Severity: important
While starting up Gnome, or while using the Keyboard Preferences dialog,
I get the error message:
Error activating XKB configuration.
It can happen under various circumstances:
- a bug in libxklavier library
- a bug in X server (xkbcomp, xmodmap utilities)
- X server with incompatible libxkbfile implementation

If you report this situation as a bug, please include:
- The result of xprop -root | grep XKB
- The result of gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd
The layout selected is "Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro / Microsoft
Internet Keyboard Pro". Here is the requested debug output:

Because this is broken, the additional keys above the F-keys remain
unbound, and report "keysym 0x0, NoSymbol" in xev.
This worked correctly with Gnome 2.10.
