 Could you please try:
 1/ rm -rf ~/.gstreamer-0.8
 2/ running gstreamer-properties and select:
    a/ ESD (you need the gstreamer0.8-esd package)
    b/ ALSA (you need gstreamer0.8-alsa)
    c/ OSS (you need gstreamer0.8-oss)

 And tell me what works?
