Bug#353296: Same problem here

I can confirm the "no icon on desktop" bug. I've run gnome-volume
manager from a terminal. No erros appear, the usb stick (or ipod) get
mounted, an icon is created in computer:// (not on the desktop), but
when I click on it it just says "unable to mount..." and the rest.

Any feedback would be great.
