Package: libgnomedb2-common
Version: 0.9.0-1
Severity: normal

If I open Applications -> Desktop Preferences -> Advanced -> Database
configuration, and create a new data source, testing it causes
gnome-database-properties to stop updating its window. (I'd normally
call it a "hang" but the CPU usage stays at 0%.)

Here are steps to reproduce:

1) Create a new data source by clicking on the New button and entering
in the following data:

Data source name: Test
Provider: Default
Description: Just a test
Username: <blank>
Password: <blank>
URI: file:///home/alex/does-not-exist.xml

2) After clicking on Forward, Apply, etc., click the Test button to test
the newly created data source.

3) Click the Connect button. A dialog box opens saying "Connection to
Test successful!".

4) Click the Close button.

The bug is that the "Test Data Source" window does not redraw, nor does
"Database properties". A `killall gnome-database-properties` is
required to terminate the application.

Hello,

These bugs were fixed in the maintainer upload of libgnomedb 1.2.2-1 but
inadvertently marked as fixed-in-nmu. I'm closing them properly now
(323862 also had a typo).

Thijs
