Hi, this is obviously assigned to the wrong package, but I'm downgrading 
this to normal unless you forgot mentionning the reason why GNOME would 
be unusable.
Note that it's not clear if you're reporting that the problem is only in 
unstable or testing too, and whether your problem is specific to GNOME. 
Can you confirm that sounds works outside of GNOME?
