Hello,

Lately I have had serious text problems in GTK2 applications. E.g. in
configurations dialogs with text descriptions for each buttong, parts of
the text is missing. When I move the mouse cursor over those lines, the
text reappears, and sometimes disappears again after moving the mouse
cursor over other lines of text. Here is a screenshot of the preferences
in gqview. One can see that the last parts of the text descriptions are missing.

This problem also occurs in GTK2 applications for new users on my computer
without any custom GTK configuration.
