Bug#370408: totem-xine: Totem ignores user's .asoundrc and /etc/asound.conf during 5.1

The suggestion to change the default audiosink did nothing at all (I
discovered to my annoyance that totem had upgraded because it made it
into -testing).  Sound playback is the same as it was with
autoaudiosink: the center channel cannot be heard.


How does one upgrade the bug's severity?  This bug makes totem
unusable to me.
