Hi,

I also have problems with Rhythmbox and some ID3 tags.
In addition to the problems that Aaron comments, with the
genres (I have similar problems) has problems with the
year of some tracks.

I have verified that is not a problem of gstreamer0.10-good.
I didn't even have installed gstreamer0.10-tools in my system,
which provides gst-launch-0.10. After installing it,
I've proved with a mp3 file with problems:

$ gst-launch-0.10 filesrc location=01-Burnout.mp3 ! id3demux ! fakesink - t

  genre: Rock track
  count: 14
  duration: 127000000000

As you can see the genre reported is "Rock" and my Rhythmbox
classifies it as "Alternative & Punk".

I have a very extensive collection of mp3,
and similar problems in other files. If necessary,
I can send them to you. I attach the mp3 file.

Cheers,
