Bug#351452: gnome-panel: wnck-applet uses 100% of cpu

I run into a similar problem, but I've been unable to discover what is
triggering it. Suddenly wnck-applet will be using 100% of the cpu and the
window list and desktop switcher will be unresponsive (I have those two on a
separate panel from everything else). "killall wnck-applet" fixes the
problem, with a couple popups asking to restart the window list and desktop
switcher, then everything is fine. A couple observations: I've only seen
this happen when I'm actively using the machine, not when it's idle or with
the screensaver; I usually have firefox, a couple gnome-terminals, and
gkrellm running; I sometimes have an ssh-askpass window pop up for various
things I'm working on, but I haven't noticed a correlation to the
wnck-applet hanging.
