I tested 1.2.1 again before upgrading and I can't reproduce it anymore
with 1.2.1 either. So if there was no change in totem I guess it has
been fixed in xine or some changes in alsa make it work now. Maybe since
alsa is using the dmix plugin by default. I'm pretty sure that the last
time I tested it I could not run multiple audio programs at the same
time, what is possible now. If I figure out how to force alsa to use the
hardware directly I could test it, if you want.
