 That's a bug in AM_GLIB_GNU_GETTEXT which is triggerred by newer
 autoconf.  Either downgrade your autoconf, or don't call that macro.
 The macro is really awful.  You can also change the macro to add
 another layer of "eval", see the upstream bug on the macro:
