Bug#357544: gdmsetup segfaults and kills gdm

gdmsetup segfaults if it's called at the login screen and whats importend, it kills 
gdm (which then restarts).  It fails too if i try it with gdmflexiserver and with 
gdmflexiserver in Xnest. Interesting is, it fails only at the loginscreen and not 
if I start it directly from a terminal.
