Bug#358481: gnome-terminal: Should have a commandline option to set character encoding

It would be useful and easy to implement a commandline option for
gnome-terminal to set the character encoding used, for example in a
launcher for a connection to a server that doesn't like UTF-8 or for ircing in
ISO-8859-1 and not in UTF-8.
