Bug#365773: gnome-terminal: curses apps won't use full size of window when maximized until reset command issued

I have gnome-terminal maximized.

Whenever opening a new tag, if I launch a curses application inside it, it won't use the full terminal size but only less than the upper half.

If I issue the reset command in bash first, everything is fine and the application uses the full size.

This happens for instance on dselect or vi.

De-maximizing gnome-terminal and re-maximizing it also solves the problem, as an alternative to reset.

I suspect it's the new tab which aren't opened with proper terminal size.

This used to work until a recent update of testing.
