Yes, but I wonder if this should be split into two bugs: this feature
request and the problem with the newline (which is a normal bug[*]).
[*] You can't even say that the newline character is a non-word
character since when you type the following two lines:
ab(
)
and double-click on the "(", only the "(\n" is selected, not
"(\n)\n".
