Bug#366256: pdf 1.5 is not recognized by gnome-vfs, but by file

Package: gnome-mime-data
Version: 2.4.2-1

I got a PDF 1.5 Document and tried to open it in evince and it reported
that it can't open the mime-type (application/octet-stream). So I used
gnomevfs-info on the file and got:

MIME type         : application/octet-stream

Using file -i I got:
application/pdf


I can provide you the document if you need it.
