Hi,

Make sure that you use the correct audiosink for Gstreamer. Rhythmbox 0.9
uses Gstreamer 0.10. (Totem 1.2 is still using 0.8)

You can check these settings in gconf:

gconftool-2 -g /system/gstreamer/0.10/default/audiosink
gconftool-2 -g /system/gstreamer/0.8/default/audiosink
