Yes, unfortunately I still do.

In case my original report is not clear enough, this can be easily
worked around by disabling the pop up blocker. Nonetheless, this
behavior differs from what happens when clicking on an A/href link that
spawns a new window, where the window is always opened in response to
the user's click.
