 nautilus | File and Folder Operations | Ver: 2.14.x

           Summary: trailing slash stripped from URI when clicking a
                    .desktop link
           Product: nautilus
           Version: 2.14.x
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: Normal
         Component: File and Folder Operations
        AssignedTo: nautilus-maint at gnome.bugs
        ReportedBy: joss at debian.org
         QAContact: nautilus-maint at gnome.bugs
                CC: pkg-gnome-maintainers at lists.alioth.debian.org
     GNOME version: 2.13/2.14
   GNOME milestone: Unspecified

Let's create the following foo.desktop file on the desktop:

[Desktop Entry]
Version=1.0
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Foo
Type=Link
URL=http://toto.org/blop/
Icon=gnome-fs-bookmark

When double-clicking on the resulting icon, the "http://toto.org/blop" URI is
loaded in the browser, with the trailing slash removed. This can be an issue
with some web sites that don't rewrite it.
