The @p.d.o address is the one getting the first mail ("intent to NMU")
and the second one, 7 days later ("announce of the upcoming NMU"). The
mail is sent with "X-PTS-Approved" headers.
This is not the first time that I see that, indeed, mails sent to
<package>@p.d.o do not easily reach package maintainers. There is
still something that I'm probably missing, here.

Ah, you mean add something like "Please check the schedule at the end
of this mail". Good suggestion, indeed.

Yeah, I understand. I won't probably change the process now because
all involved people are used to it but that would be an itneresting
improvement for further such campaigns.
