Thanks for your report. I think Debian only ships GStreamer plugins
which are compatible with the license of totem, hence I'm downgrading
the severity of your report. I'm also extending the range of affected
versions as I don't think this is a new issue, and don't want to delay
testing propagation because of this.
I've also seen multiple errors in the debian/copyright, for example the
Totem Playlist parser library is licensed under the LGPL upstream, but
under the GPL in Debian. This is not incompatible, but should be fixed
ASAP.
I've fixed these mistakes in our SVN repository, and I'll upload a new
totem after the current one transitions to testing.
