I don't have an unstable system to test on. I'm running the 0.9.6-1 in
testing right now. and it does still happen.
It is possibly a bug in xfwm but I don't have a similar application to
test with. To give a bit more detail after leaving party mode if I
open the xfce menu where I can set "always on top" it shows that the
window is not currently set to be always on top. Checking that box and
unchecking it makes the window act normally again.
