Bug#397319: default desktop no longer sets any background

Package: desktop-base
Version: 0.3.17
Severity: normal

Well, that. Default desktop as installed by recent d-i etch snapshots, with
desktop task, no longer provides the debian background (or any other). I'm
not sure if this is desktop-base's fault; please reassign as appropiate.

Thanks
