Bug#365727: AM_GNU_GETTEXT([external]) leads to missing CATOBJEXT replacement

Sorry for the long delay. But to finally close it, here my answer:

No. I use a workaround for myself.

Can be closed with tag "wontfix" to show, that the issue isn't fixed.
