Bug#391287: hangs for couple minutes on login and logout

This can have several causes. First, please check that your loopback
interface and DNS server are correctly configured.

Otherwise, it can be caused by a program not registering to the session
manager. You should try to remove each of the elements in your session
to see which one is responsible.
