Bug#383633: I'm experiencing the same problem

I did a apt-get update, apt-get upgrade (using synaptic) this morning
and discovered that gnome-terminal does not allow select / middle click
to to a copy / paste.

No other applications, including the gnome ones like Nautilus have the
problem.

I do have some kde packages installed as well, which I guessed might be
part of the problem.

I am currently experiencing the problem, so let me know if there is
something I can send you to help diagnosis.
