Well, gnome-vfs works fine without gnome-mount, so gnome-vfs only uses
it if it's installed. I could describe it as a Suggests, or you could
add an Enhances on gnome-mount for gnome-vfs. But we both want that
gnome-mount is installed on systems running GNOME, because it enhances
the user experience, to it makes sense to list it in the
gnome-desktop-environment meta package.

Even if you lower the number of dependency, you're inevitably going to
depend on UI libs, and I don't think it would be good for gnome-vfs to
pull UI libs.
