Hello GNOME,

when trying to purge gnome-panel-data, I get

   Removing gnome-panel-data ...
   Purging configuration files for gnome-panel-data ...
   /var/lib/dpkg/info/gnome-panel-data.postrm: line 7: update-gconf-defaults: command not found
   dpkg: error processing gnome-panel-data (--purge):
    subprocess post-removal script returned error exit status 127
   Errors were encountered while processing:
    gnome-panel-data

I think the issue is that you cannot assume dependencies being satisfied
during purge.
