Bug#389895: GNOME -default application dosen't apply for web browser

For the html file opening, this is configured at another place. You have
to right click on the file, open the preferences dialog, and go to "open
with".

I don't know about thunderbird. If you launch "gnome-open
http://some.site/", does it open with firefox?
