Hi,

Thanks for providing the PDF file, I can indeed reproduce this. The URL
in question is invalid, it uses forward slashes instead of backslashes:
"http:\\www.acrors.ait.ac.th\kunming\proceedings.htm"

I'm curious if any other PDF viewers, such as Acroread, handles the URL
correctly? 

Anyway, Evince should provide a better error message, I will report it
to the upstream developers.
